Red Lippies
I’ve had this red lipstick for a
quite a while now. I’ve always preferred nude colors, but decided to play around and explore brighter
colors. I’ve seen many ladies pull of this look beautifully, I wasn’t really
confident with it yet, mainly because I
have darker, olive skin tone and wasn’t sure if a red lip would
complement my skin tone. And I was
scared that a red shade would be far to showy and calls for too much attention
to my lips.
A bold red lip is such a classic look
and adds a touch of flair. A good idea
would probably be to pair a bold red lip
with the lightest possible make –up. Better yet, do away with eye shadow and
just dab on mascara. Applying a little
concealer around the border of your mouth area will promote a polished look.
Red lipstick makes the lips
appear bigger and much plumper than what they really are, so it's important to
consider the size of your lips when choosing a shade of red lippies. If you
feeling to dress down a bit, a pop of red on the lips can easily elevate your
outfit instantly.
A good tip is to apply a little
foundation on your lips before applying the lipstick. Use a lip liner the same
shade a the red lipstick to prevent the lipstick from bleeding out of the lips.
Red lipstick makes the face not just the lips very attractive, but ensure
that your make-up is balanced!
