Grateful

Last week I became conscious and observant with my surroundings, So while I was running an errand on Saturday Morning, I saw a gentleman a the traffic light, he was standing there, with a bag, looking for a job, hoping that someone would stop, and offer him something. He seemed desperate.

It made me so grateful for the job I have.

I became immensely grateful for more than just that..

I became grateful for my Husband when I see single parents  fulfilling the role of both parents.

I became grateful for my house when I see the homeless guy sleeping on the pavement of UWC every morning when I pass. Sleeping on a single layer of card board and covered with a blanket or two.

I became grateful for my beautiful children when I see couples struggling to have children.

I became grateful for my health and that of my family and loved ones when I hear stories my sister shares of sick people are at the hospital she works .

I became grateful for my car when I see people walking in rainy cold weather, making use  and depending on  public transport to take them from point A to B.

I became grateful  that I am still alive and have dreams that's coming  true..
I am grateful for more than just above.., most of all..

I became grateful for the fact know that I can depend on God for EVERYTHING, knowing I can run to Him with whatever lives throws at me .

Hallo lovies

Hare Care

Today I’m reviewing Dove Fall Rescue Shampoo and Conditioner.

Starting off with the Shampoo, I love using this shampoo as it really washes clean, and it leaves my hair feeling really soft and smelling great. (Choose a shampoo that suits your hair type)

The conditioner feels really creamy and on application I find it really easy in relieving knots and detangles my hair great. I apply it evenly throughout my hair until the ends then uses a wide tooth comb to gently comb through and keeping it on for two minutes before rinsing. After drying my hear it really looks healthy, smells great has a fantastic shine. I definitely recommend these products.

Tip:
Sometimes it’s a good idea to give your hair a break.. From using flat irons, hair dryers and other styling mechanisms. Just so that you hair can have a little breather. By doing this at least once or twice a month you will notice a difference in your hair.  You can decide what will work best for you.

Vaseline

Vaseline or Baseline as my daughter would say:)  I am  addicted and needs to purchase a big tub every month. I used it for EVERYTHING..

Because I have a dry skin, I mix Vaseline with my body lotions to give me that extra moisture.

I’ve come across some useful tips to that’s awesome to share:

·         Put a coat on your eyelashes before you go to be. Lots of people swear by this – and say it will make you lashes grow longer and thicker over time.

·         Put a coat of Vaseline on your feet at night.

·         Put Vaseline on your elbows every day – they will  stay soft.

·         Put Vaseline on your cuticles for softer and better looking cuticles.

·         Put Vaseline on chapped lips.

·         Use it as lip-gloss.

·         Maintains perfume scent longer when applied at perfume points before spritzing the perfume.

·         Moisturizes severe dry skin.

·         Can be used as makeup remover.

·         Protects skin exposed to adverse weather.

·         Applied under eye shadow it can create a shiny effect.

·         Use Vaseline on knees to prevent that dry, ashy look.

·         Mix with sea salts to make a scrub.

·         Warmed up can be used as a night cream.

·         Can be used to smooth and soothe skin after shaving.

·         Used in manicures under cuticles.

·         Use with your lipstick to create a cream blusher for you cheeks.

·         Tames eyebrows.

·         Defines eyelashes and leaves with a glossy and waterproof look.

·         Helps heal and protect new tattoos.

·         Can protect against harmful hair dyeing, perming and straightening chemicals when used as a mark around the hairline.

·         Use a time dab to put a quick shine on your shoes and bags.

·         Remove makeup stains from clothing.

·         Rub Vaseline on the neck of your nail polish bottles and they won't get stuck to the caps.

·         Remove false eyelash glue form your lash line.

Your hands plays an important  function as a  bridge to the world if you are one that “talk”
with your hands, they spend more time in the spotlight. It's important to wash your hands regular as it is exposed to all sorts of germs and dirt, but the frequent washing of them can also keep your hands dry, cracked and wrinkled if not taking care of them properly. And there’s nothing worse that hands looking much older than what you are.

Taking good care of your hands  can be fairly easy. There are things you can do every day to help your hands look and feel good. Develop a good routine and give your hands a helping hand.
Good moisturizers can help prevent or treat dry skin on your hands. They also help your outer skin act as a temporary protective shield. Many people like to use some sort of water-based lotion, but that may not be the best choice. Lotions may make your hands feel great at first, but the water will evaporate quickly, drying your skin anew.

Make wearing gloves part of your daily routine.  You might find wearing them uncomfortable at first, but it's worth the time. Wear gloves anytime you plan to use harsh cleaning products.

Keep disposable gloves like those used by medical professionals and food-service workers around the house also. If preparing onions, tomatoes or other strong or acid foods irritates your hands, the gloves can help. In cold weather, wear gloves when you go outside. It's not just to keep your hands from feeling cold. The gloves will also keep them from drying or chapping in the wintry air.

COVER YOUR GREY

COVER YOUR  GREY

When you have really dark hair and  you tend to spot the odd grey hair now and then… Here’s something that might interest you…
I have discovered the perfect solution:

Cover your grey!!!! YAY!

This product is perfect to touch up grey roots in between coloring your hair. It's fairly quick and easy , just apply to the grey hair and blend in. It washes out when you shampoo your hair. It's really a great product to have when grey hair starts to appear in between color treatments.

It's also a great money saver because you can actually  prolong your next color treatment and don’t feel rushed to get your roots touched up. The product is small enough to keep in your make up bag or handbag.

Great value for money!!

Happy Feet

Our feet are an important part of our body and just like any other part of our body needs proper care , attention and to be pampered.

This summer has been really taxing on my feet, so I’ve ended up with scaly and dry skin around my feet and heels. I’ve started using Dr Sole Repair Cream  and Dr Sole Foot Butter.

First start off by soaking your feet to relax and energize them.  The water in which you soak your feet, should have some salt or scented oil added to it. There are many brands of foot baths that are available, so you can choose one that suits you best. The oils you use, will penetrate your skin and have a variety of healing powers. Also, there are many products that contain healing ingredients as part of their key ingredients.

After using this product for a week, I could see skin area around my feet really improving and with continuous use my feet are “smiling”. The Heel balm and Foot butter is not that pricey at all and both products can be purchased at the same time.
This a great product and when applying it during night time, you can wear socks to absorb the goodness of the product where it’s needed.

The Moisture Rich Foot Butter is a great idea to use if you have someone to massage your feet after an exhausting day.  With Shae Butter and Sweet Almond Oil gives that intensive nourish and moisture your feet deserves.

The Repair Cream, protects and repairs cracked and damaged heels or skin around the foot area. It contains 25 % Urea to help intensively soften dry, cracked heels and feet. Avocado Butter and Lanolin are known to moisturize and nourish the skin. It smells heavenly as well.

The best way  to relax and energize your feet is to soak them. Your feet, just like any other part of the body require to be pampered.
